What's Actually Included When You Book a Luxury Villa in Bali

Most private villas in Bali include a private pool, free WiFi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and free parking as standard — daily housekeeping and airport transfers vary by property and are worth confirming before you book. One of the most common questions from first-time villa travellers is the simplest one: what actually comes with the property? Unlike a hotel room, where the inclusions are fairly standardised, a private villa's amenities can vary meaningfully from one listing to the next — so it's worth knowing what to expect, and what to specifically check before booking.

What's Standard Across Nearly Every Villa

Across our collection, a core set of amenities holds regardless of location or size:

  • A private pool — the defining feature of a villa stay, and never shared with another party
  • Free WiFi, generally reliable enough for remote work, though worth confirming for anyone planning to work full days from the villa
  • Air conditioning in bedrooms and living areas
  • A fully equipped kitchen, for villas where guests want the option to cook rather than dine out every meal
  • Free parking, relevant for anyone arranging their own driver or rental scooter

What Varies by Property

Beyond the essentials, individual villas add amenities suited to their setting. Beachfront properties like Villa Sunset Seminyak and Abaca Villas include direct beach access; the latter adds a rooftop deck built for sunset. Canggu Rice Field Villa includes a co-working desk for guests splitting their trip between leisure and remote work. Uluwatu Clifftop Villa's standout is its infinity pool and ocean view, while jungle and rice terrace properties in Ubud typically include a private yoga deck. The Young Villas – Dolce, Bingin goes further still, with private check-in and check-out, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security across all its units, plus a paid shuttle for trips further afield.

Daily housekeeping is included at several properties — Villa Sunset Seminyak and Ubud Rice Terrace Villa among them — but isn't universal across every listing, so it's worth checking per villa rather than assuming.

What to Ask Before You Book

  • Is housekeeping daily, or on request?
  • Is a private chef available, and is it included or arranged separately?
  • Are airport transfers included, or booked as an add-on?
  • Is there a security deposit, and what's the cancellation policy?

Every villa listing on our site spells out its specific amenities in full — but if a particular inclusion matters to your trip and isn't listed, it's always worth asking directly before you book. It's a five-minute question that avoids any surprises on arrival.
